1. The introduction chapter is incomplete, i would strongly recommend to rewrite the introduction by mentioning the previous work done, and the need of this study. major portion of the introduction is irrelevant.
2. old citation from the whole manuscript should be replaced with updated one.
3. primer detail are missing in the study.
4. i would strongly recommend to provide raw data before Delta CT calculation.
5. detail methodology of RNA isolation and cDNA synthesis should be mentioned in the methodology section.
6. conclusion is very weak and should be revised.

There are several missing information in M and M part of the manuscript. Please specify the source (branch etc.) of MeJA.
How many leaves in average, were sprayed at whci developmental stage?
Section 2.4. Which criteria have been taken in account to select the longest transcript in each gene as a unigene?
Section 2.5. it is necessary to include the links for applied in silico tools and databases.
Section 2.7. The designation of individual genes should be stated as well as the eccession number for each gene.
