The paper is interesting and provided important information regarding diagnosis of foreign body ingestion in children that can guide clinical diagnosis and practice. I have a few suggestions below that can enhance the manuscript.
Is there a difference in type of foreign body ingestion among male versus female patients? Table 2 showed age specific characteristic for male patients, but what about the age specific characteristic for female patients? Do you also observe a significant difference in type of foreign body ingestion in female at different age? Does household economic status also play a role in type of foreign body ingestion?Author Response
