Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

thank you for allowing me to review this journal, which focuses on the public health issue of colorectal cancer screening. the article is well written; the objectives are clearly stated and the perspectives relevant. at a time when the incidence of colorectal cancer is increasing in patients under 50 with advanced forms, it is essential to look at the obstacles to population screening.

is there a barrier to screening and/or participation in Canada linked to socio-economic and/or territorial inequalities? it would be interesting to explore this avenue, which is not addressed in the manuscript.

Author Response

Dear Reviewer,

Thank you for taking time to read our manuscript and provide your feedback.

The question about barriers to screening and/or participation in Canada linked to socio-economic and/or territorial inequalities is very important and interesting. This was not a topic of the present symposium but we do plan to have a specific session on this in the next symposium.
