I like the paper, the topic is interesting and important nowadays.

I think that Introduction can be extended in order to offer more details/information regarding the Lebanese crisis which can argument better the choice of the study.

I suggest that Table 5 to be arranged parallel with the text.

All the aspects that I would like to ask the authors are mentioned as limitations of the study, so , I hope that the authors will continue their work as they mentioned in order to improve their findings. Considering the objective that they have proposed at this moment, I think that they managed to accomplish well.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The paper addresses an important and informative topic, and the research design appears to be reasonable. However, there are several areas where the paper could be improved for greater clarity and depth.

Firstly, the paper lacks detailed information about the survey methodology. It does not explain how participants were selected, which is crucial for assessing the validity and reliability of the findings. Including this information would strengthen the credibility of the research.

The authors argue that the absence of a functional financial system impedes entrepreneurial intentions to start businesses. However, the paper does not specify which aspects of the financial system are deficient, such as access to credit, banking stability, or investment opportunities. Providing more detail on these specific issues would help readers understand the broader context and the specific challenges faced by entrepreneurs in Lebanon.

The term "economic dependence" mentioned in the abstract is not clearly defined. It would be beneficial to clarify what is meant by economic dependence and how it affects entrepreneurial intentions. This clarification would enhance the readers' understanding of the term's significance within the study.

The paper also does not address cultural factors that might influence entrepreneurial intentions in Lebanon. Including a discussion on cultural attitudes towards entrepreneurship could provide a more holistic view of the factors impacting entrepreneurial intentions.

Given the economic and political instability in Lebanon, the paper could benefit from discussing how current events, such as economic crises and political instability, might be affecting entrepreneurial intentions and motivation to start businesses. This contextualization would make the study more relevant to the current situation in Lebanon.

Additionally, a comparative analysis with other countries experiencing similar economic conditions could provide valuable insights and highlight unique challenges or advantages specific to Lebanon. This comparison would offer a broader perspective on the findings and their implications.

Lastly, there are technical errors in the paper, with phrases like "Error! Reference source not found" appearing at lines 387, 505, and 567. These errors need to be corrected to ensure the paper's professionalism and readability.

In sum, while the paper addresses a significant topic with a reasonable research design, it would benefit from more detailed information as to survey, clearer definitions, consideration of cultural and current event factors, and comparative analysis with other countries. Addressing these points would enhance the paper's overall quality and impact.
