Comments and Suggestions for Authors

An interesting simulation of the variability of the distribution of the studied species in the past due to climate change. The abstract should be made more detailed by providing specific climate change data. The introduction should provide a more important justification for the choice of the species, which results not only from the ornamental value and suitability of the raw material for medicine, but above all from the high requirements regarding temperature and air humidity. Additionally, it is an endemic species. Well described methodological assumptions and research results. Interesting discussion without providing any further proposed research directions.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

·       The study is expressing the environmental factors that influenced the distribution patterns of Luculia pinceana. What about other factors that can greatly affect these patterns?

·       The rationales in the abstract are too long. Try to summarize the first six lines into one sentence.

·       ODMAP stands for? Use full form at first time.

·       Improve the transitional gap to improve the paragraphs structure in “Introduction section”.

·       Although authors discussed the contents of the study in detail in the “Introduction section” but failed to express the significance of the study and clear objectives.

·       Explain, how did you select environment factor (Bio1-19)?

·       In table 2: the values of performance indicators are very good. Can you give some examples from other similar research works with such a good performance.

·       Figure 4: Add titles of x-axis and y-axis.

·       Have you adopted any downscaling techniques for GCM data sets? It is crucial to prove the authenticity of these data sets.

·       For better understanding, please develop a taylor diagram to show the variation in suitable area for L. pinceana under different climatic scenarios.
