Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The present manuscript is a resubmission of a research work where a new approach for the control of the infection of olive trees from Xylella fastidiosa subsp. pauca in Salento, Italy is described.

The authors have considered my comments from the previous reports, therefore I suggest the acceptance of the manuscript.

Author Response

I appreciate the comments and consideration.

Reviewer 2 Report

The manuscript is well written and easily readable.

My recommendation is to accept it in the current form

Author Response

I appreciate the positive comments.

Reviewer 3 Report

Dear author,
I consider that this manuscript can be published in its present form and that it is very suitable for the chosen journal.
I appreciated the form of the presentation both in terms of exposure and language quality.
I admit that I would have liked to see more technical details about the pathogen analysis, but I think that is not the subject of the article.
I wish you success both in the journalistic approach and in saving the valuable patrimony.

Author Response

I thank the positive response to the Perspective paper.
