By analyzing a data set of over 100,000 cases, this study examines the awareness and adoption of BGP across Malawi. The result of this study reveals socioeconomic, biophysical and water-point specific variables influencing both the awareness and adoption of BGP. Both of discussion and conclusion are positive for future work.

The article is very long, 28 pages. In the introduction, as well as in other parts of the text, one can find a lot of descriptive material that could be removed without detriment to the whole of the argument.

We acknowledge that the article is long, however, as this paper has a particular focus on engaging and advising stakeholders from a range of backgrounds we feel that the amount of detail included in the work is necessary to ensure that the work is accessible to all readers.
