Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Paper title: Interactions and Co-Governance Policies of Stakeholders in the Carbon Emissions Reduction

The paper provides a theoretical model to estimate the role of the stakeholders in carbon emissions reductions. Deducing the relationships is based on conducting surveys about evaluation indexes on carbon emissions reductions.

Comments to authors.

Line 162: Cronbach α (0 – 1) was used to analyze and estimate the reliability of evaluation indicators.

Comment 1: Equation or a brief description of the method is required

Line 275 and 276: Note that we selected the relatively stable indices, including GFI, RMR, GFI, AGFI, and RMSEA, as the goodness of fit indices.

Comment 2: Abbreviations need definitions. It’s not mentioned anywhere within the document.

Comment 3: A brief description of AMOS7.0 soft is required moreover how the influence coefficients are calculated.

General comments:

  • Sections are not clear in table 1.
  • The English language needs improvement.
  • Authors may emphasize the other techniques that may be used other than conducting surveys.
  • Quationare may be added as an appendix to the article
  • Check the order of references

Dear Authors,

i am happy to review this interesting manuscript entitled "Interactions and Co-Governance Policies of Stakeholders in the Carbon Emissions Reduction". However, i have the following comments

  1. The contribution of the study is missing
  2. Data reliability and validity tests are missing
  3. Authors must explain the logical framework to choose indicators and the final index
  4. data normalization is also missing
  5. Variable constructions also missing in manuscript
  6. Authors must revise the estimation process for reliable results
  7. The results discussion is missing
  8. conclusion section must be re-written

Comments

This research paper titled “  Interactions and Co-Governance Policies of Stakeholders in the Carbon Emissions Reduction” is focusing very valuable insights to the readers. Authors have used SEM to test the low carbon intensity on manufacturing enterprises, government, energy supply industry, R&D Organizations, and financial  institutions in a structured way. But some minor revisions are needed before publications.

  • Please add SEM as keyword in abstract section, because SEM methodology has been used to measure the performance of carbon emissions.

  • Introduction section is very thin. Please state the few lines regarding the significance of interaction and significance Co-Governance in low carbon emission .

  • Justification of Structural Equation Modelling is missing in the introduction part.

  • Literature review is adequate but some more recent examples of global scenario will add more value towards low carbon emission.

  • Analysis part is perfect but author has to explain why financial institutions are under evaluated (0.313) in intensity of low carbon emission . What are the sub factors are affecting it ?

  • Comparison the outcomes of the study with   previous research papers will add much more depth of the paper.

  • Add the limitations and future scope of the study.

  • Proof reading of the manuscript is necessary for typo errors and serial number of reference is wrong.
