Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The study by Khan et al indicates if the adoption of internet technology affect the wheat productivity among rural farmers. Although the study may be informative, the writing style looks like a proposal instead of a research paper. Authors should be change the following parts.

1.     It is not necessary to write the literature review after introduction or it may be better to summarize this part.

2.   In conclusion, it is weird to talk about the restrictions or limitations of the study.

3.     I noticed some errors in English. Please fix them.

Reviewer 2 Report

This manuscript “Does Adoption of Mobile Internet Technology Promote the Wheat Productivity? Evidence from Rural Farmers” by Khan et al., describes that mobile internet technology can disseminate information quickly at a low cost. Mobile internet technology can remove the barrier for the farmers to increase agricultural productivity and access to the modern tools.

I appreciate the author and co-author for writing a well-organized research paper. Author should read the article thoroughly and set its style as per journal format.

I have few suggestions for the author’s.

1st!

L63: Rephrase this sentence. I do not think so; this type of expression is acceptable in scientific writing.

2nd!

No doubt, new technology is playing a vital role to disseminate the information to the farmers. As the author’s claims that, those farmers who were in contact with the extension services get more wheat yield as compared to the others. Is it possible for you to get the information from the farmers or extension officers, what type of information they got from the officers/What type of information, extension officer disseminated to the farmers that lead to the increase wheat productivity in four districts. Please enlist that information also, it will be helpful for the journal readers.
