Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The manuscript focuses on consumers’ marginal willingness to pay for environmentally friendly farming (EFF) produce. It compares the Chinese and Japanese consumer markets for awareness of green foods. The authors suggest lower costs, differentiated product messaging, and community initiatives events to enhance trade and marketing in both China and Japan.

A moderate English editing and spell check is required.  A few typographical errors also need to be addressed.

Reviewer 3 Report

The manuscript by Yang R. et al., entitled “How does Information Influence Consumers’ Purchase Decisions for Environmentally Friendly Farming Produce? Evidence from China and Japan Based on Choice Experiment” provides useful information on the consumers’ decisions to purchase EFF produce.

Some minor revisions must be addressed:

-        Please, insert the table 1 title

-        Please, write the information of Figure 1 in English too

-        What does “sans information” (line 383) mean?

Please, move the last paragraph of the Conclusions section to the Discussions section.
