Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The paper titled as "A framework proposal to assess the maturity of green IT in organizations" aims to propose a Green IT Maturity framework. Authors provided a systematic literature review led to the development of a Green IT practice checklist, which was qualitatively analyzed and categorized into six dimensions, culminating into their Green IT maturity framework proposal.

Paper looks interesting , I have the following suggestions:

- as it is very actual topic these days, it is needed to provide more recent literature sources,

- please add short paragraph what is known and what is new in relation to your proposal, and also provide information why is your proposal better than existing approaches in this domain.

- Figure 1 - please add better figure quality as some words are not readable.

- please add short methodology section.

Reviewer 2 Report

The article is very theoretical and the contributions to the actual state of the art are not clearly presented.

The Green IT Maturity framework is very broadly described, and it is not clear how its application will work in real-case scenarios.

I couldn't find an empirical research section. It is not clear to me how the authors arrived at the proposed Green IT Maturity framework. Chapter 3, in my opinion, should be completely rewritten; it should be a bridge between the literature and the proposed framework. In the present form, it is merely a description of Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and Content Analysis (CA). not an application of these methods.

The framework is proposed and described in chapter 4. Discussion; this should be done in another section. The Discussion section is actually inexistent. We expect to find here ... discussion of findings, "balanced, coherent, and compelling".

There are  mistakes in the manuscript, for instance, decide if you use Green TI or Green IT

Reviewer 3 Report

Green IT is very interesting and current research area, and very important for sustainability general.

As the term green information technology is a socio-technical movement that refers to the need to innovate the way organizational resources are combined, this work can be used by numerous companies and researches.

How it is today companies from all sectors and sizes are under increasing pressure from green movements this article has a special value.

Authors very good explain term Green IT and Green IT practices.

Although the article is descriptive its value is significant. Even though is still considered a recent and not very widespread area. Green IT proposes to develop IT products and services aligned with sustainability and corporate strategy, that is Green Framework in text is very good starting point for further research.

The suggestion to the authors for future research is to include an interviews with employees in the IT sector and examine their attitudes towards Green IT.

In this article the authors should explain in more detail the starting hypothesis of their research and the methods of work.

Round 2

Reviewer 2 Report

The authors modified the manuscript, and most of my observations were implemented.

Anyway, after reading the modified manuscript I am not sure if we are discussing about an Article type Manuscript or a Review type.
