First of all, I appreciate the opportunity to review your paper How does manufacturing intelligentization influence innovation in China from a nonlinear perspective and economic servitization background?.  Paper deals with a very important topic. Comments are below:

 

• The abstract should be better written. The most important findings/results should be listed.
• Keywords should be better defined (for example “diversified agglomeration of producer services”).
• Scientific paper writing without "we"; "our" (for example lines 79, 396, 431). Correct throughout the paper.
• The last paragraph in the introduction is the structure of the paper (several sentences for each section).
• The main goals of the introduction and literature review are to provide the research background, i.e. relevant and contemporary studies in the field, and the identification of the research gap (what is missing in these studies which this study will try to cover). The research gap should be clearly presented.
• The Discussion section should be reinforced with more practical and theoretical implications.
• As the author mentioned in lines 446-451, the observed period is questionable. Also, 2021 will be very important for analysis.

The manuscript presents an interesting study on manufacturing intelligentization influencing innovation in China The manuscript is well written and is in line with the journal’s topics. Extent literature has been appropriately incorporated. Research methodology is acceptable. 

Hypothesis lays foundation of relation between intelligent manufactruing and innovation performance. Findings and inferences are can be useful for academia and industry to take a decision on to what extent manufacturing intelligentization should be taken up.

Some improvements suggested before considering for publication: the introduction section seems to be short. It is suggested to split it into two different sections: 1) introduction (where research motivations should be highlighted) and 2) background analysis. Data validity and Reliability analysis can be taken up in this study or may be taken as further work.

The topic is interesting and topical. The paper is well written and comprehensive. However I have few concerns.

1.  3.5 future research  should come after conclusion.

2. The discussion part did not compare the results of the present studies with other related studies.
