Job Insecurity According to the Mental Health of Workers in 25 Peruvian Cities during the COVID-19 Pandemic
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
Methodology: The methodology should detail how and from how many centers the 1855 participants were recruited for the study. The participants' legal age should be specified.
Results: Table 2 does not exist. The second column heading in tables 4 and 5 is confusing.
Discussion: The majority of the discussion focused on the findings of various studies. There was a very little discussion about the relationship between occupational safety and mental health status based on the findings of the current study. More discussion should take place based on the key findings of the current study.
Lines 240-242 “ In the current study, anxiety was observed in three out of ten respondents, depression and stress….surveyed” are unclear, the actual findings should be given in the brackets.
Conclusion: The conclusion mentioned the link between mental health status and ‘fired’, but there was no mention of it in the discussion.

The subject of study is of interest.
The abstract should indicate the context of the study. the place of study
At the end of the introduction, the profile or characteristics must be indicated, such as the number of inhabitants or the economic framework of the 25 Peruvian cities.
The conclusions must respond to the objective of the study. Thus, the authors indicate "the objective of this study was to determine the relationship between occupational safety and mental health in workers in 25 Peruvian cities during the COVID-19 Pandemic".
The method and the presentation of the results seem appropriate.
Well, this needs to be answered more clearly in this section.
For example, the authors say
"Depression was associated with layoffs during the pandemic and with eight professions." To do this, it is necessary to highlight what these eight professions are
Or this other statement "Anxiety was associated with being male and having been laid off, while stress was associated with three professions." To do this, it is necessary to highlight what those professions were.
