1 the title is about three gorges area, but many figs and graphs are about out-resettlers,why? for example, fig.2,table3,fig.3,fig5, and so on. if out resttlers means that people move outside from three gorges area, how about fig3 and fig. 8?what is the difference between out resettlers and reservoir area resettlers? anyway, please make clear these very clear from the very beginning and the whole article.
2 these datas were analyzes in 12 provinces, what is the samples distribution in theses provinces? please make it a table or picture to see clearly.
3 many explanations are lack of envidience, if there were no envidience, just teel the result, for example, in fig11, the obvious difference between chongqing, sichuan and the other provinces. and for example again, in page 14, the description for therd-generation, is there any data or envidience for these words?
4 in many analysis, the data were compared among these 12 provinces, why some analysis is analyzed as a whole thing? for example, fig.12, why no comparitions were given ?
5 in table6, in Fujian, arable land is 5%, any deep reason? any influence to other thing by this low arable land rate happend? and this table is better trasferred to a pic, then it is easy to read and compare.
6 some words and grammar, please check carefully.
7 this is very like a statistical report, which is lack of analysis by hiddien reason and analysis, please try to find some hiddien reason or logical clue that which lead to this rsults.

I read with interest the article "A Large-scale Investigation about Out-resettlers' status from the Three Gorges Area based on the "production-living-social security-social integration-satisfaction" Perspective". The article has potential, but for its publication it is necessary to incorporate the following comments.
• In the introduction, it is necessary to add information on the changes and their effects on the quality of life of the inhabitants. Also point out the authors and studies that addressed the quality of life of the residents. At the end of the introduction, the goal of the article should be clearly formulated.
• Materials and methods - the authors should describe in more detail the methodical procedure of processing the work and all the methods used. It would also be appropriate to establish hypotheses.
• Results –verify the new hypotheses (e.g. using the χ² test), only then should the dependencies between the variables be tested.
• I consider the absence of discussion chapter to be the biggest shortcoming. It is in this chapter that the authors should point out the contribution of the article and suggest possible improvements. The proposals should be supported by a lot of other research. Without this chapter, the article feels like an interpretation of the results without further meaning.
• The article contains several formal errors, e.g. in table 1 and fig. 1 sources are missing, marking without superscript (m2), different typeface in the literature........

The authors have revised and improved their article and my comments have been incorporated. However, I recommend adding a few sources and benefits of the article with regard to the quality of life of resettled people in the discussion section. Also, formal errors should be removed, such as, for example, missing sources from where the authors drew information for individual pictures and tables. Literature is written in a different writing style.
