Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Strength: The topic is interesting, the Literature review is quite good as well as a research method. Statistical analysis is strong.

Weakness: Research background and objective need to be enhanced by supporting data evidence and based on previous studies that related to the topic, Managerial implications are too general, and authors need to be more rigorous in doing depth analysis based on findings. And one thing that is missing: proposed framework of IoT embedded sustainable supply chain for the textile industry.

Reviewer 2 Report

Dear Authors,

The paper is focused on IOT embedded SSCM in B2B E-commerce context of textile industry.

The paper in this form experience some weaknesses. I can not find arguments for IOT clear description in this numerical case study. Is RFID tags and technology is the only factor taken in this case? IOT is really broad topical area.

I would also expect some insights on IOT from innovation investments perspective.  You can use this link. https://www.sciendo.com/article/10.2478/aut-2021-0021

I have got also concerns about the MINLP model used to show basic flows and scenarios. How does proposed model contribute to IOT approach to SSCM? Generally the model output is the total cost supply chain network. No details on carbon emission taxation cost.

Article also lacks of critical discussion and limitations.

Reviewer 3 Report

Quality of literature analysis is not good, gibberich text with messy citations.

Examples of mysterious expressions:

50 “Supply Chain Management (SCM)is progressively become” (must be becoming)

54 „information related a product“ (must be related to a product)

57 „progress have reached the supply chain as a crucial part:“

57 Once studying the VRP (ve58-hicle routing problem), specially for arrivals on-time, the finding of travel time acting a critical role in the optimization of logistics industries.

64 „We aimed to deliver the textile items form manufacturing firm 64 to wholesale warehouse using the B2B e-commerce business model“

  1. Conclusion and future work:

“The proposed model captures 339 the problems related to the order packaging, handling, and transportation of textile prod- 340 ucts from manufacturers to wholesalers. Furthermore, the implementation of the IoT fa-341 cilities in the transport vehicles and purchasing the of RFID tags.”
