Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

1. In the introduction, it is necessary to introduce the background and purpose of the study more clearly so that readers can better understand the significance and importance of the study.

2. In the method part, it is necessary to describe the source and collection method of data in more detail, as well as the analysis methods and algorithms used. In this way, readers can have a better understanding of the credibility and repeatability of the research.

3. The results section needs to present the main findings and results of the study more clearly, including the interpretation and analysis of important data and charts.

4. The discussion section needs to explore the significance and impact of the research results in more deeply, and compare and discuss with the existing related research.

5. The reference part needs to be more standardized and complete to ensure that the cited literature is related to the content of the article and is written in accordance with the prescribed citation format.

There are some grammar and spelling mistakes in the article, which need to be carefully proofread and corrected.

1. What is the basis for selecting the filtering method in the figure 2.

2. the paper prove that there is close relationship between gravity waves and convection, and I know that there have been relevant studies, and the main innovation of this paper should be to analyze the relationship between gravity waves in different frequency bands and convection, and the relative level of frequency bands should be specified in the conclusion.

3.The author should give the results of the source location according to the previous method and the method in this paper

The Quality of English is high, and it is easy to understand.

Pg. 2, line 97 It would be good to put a labeled mark where these cities (Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei) are, perhaps on Fig. 1.

Pg. 3, Line 76,  Alexander et al. [7] used barometric observations…” Reference doesn’t match the text. No article with this reference in MWR exists. Either the Author name or the Reference is incorrect.

Pg. 8-9, Fig. 7 discussion: The graph of Station 2 power precedes that of the others is obvious, and needs an explanation. In Fig. 1, Station 2 is further from the convection than the others, so its signal should not peak sooner than the others. This is also shown in Figs 2 and 3. Needs further explanation.

Fig. 8 discussion: This reconstructed pressure perturbation graph shows that Station 2 lags the others. That is expected behavior.
