Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This is an invited review written by Ian Reid and Mark Bolland. The manuscript is very well written, as expected. Only the second last sentence of the abstract should be slightly revised to either "...with more falls ..." or to "... in more falls ...", whatever the authors prefer.

Author Response

The wording change in the the second last sentence of the abstract has been made, as suggested.

Reviewer 2 Report

The text is well-structured and makes it possible to assess the importance of the joint use of calcium and vitamin D supplements to improve the state of bone health

Author Response
