Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The collected research contain:

too little work on some diseases, the heterogeneity and small number of the studied groups, differentiated test methods and their interpretattion, no relation to the bacteria strains and clinical picture of SIBO, there are few comperative studies after antimicrobial treatment. In addition most studies are not population based.

All above comments weaken the term ,,Prevalence of SIBO....with Different Diseases". Pathogenic ralationship between SIBO and these diseases is also more hypothsized than estabilished. Further studies are still required to explain complex interactions of intestinal bacteria and the immuno-inflammatory and metabolic response of the human body. Such opinions are also expressed by the authors in the summary and in conclusion.

Title of the article ,, SIBO - Show Me What You Have Inside" - sound intersting but its content does not answer this question. For this reason, I suggest its modifying, for example to ,, Clinical Aspects of the Association (or Co-occurence) of Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth with Different Diseases - A  Systemic Review".

Conclusion: The presented review has clinical value as it summarizes the obtained results so far in many centers, which indicate the need for further research in this field. The article is well prepared in terms of content and editorial and can be published after the minor indicated  correction.

This is an excellent review paper on SIBO containing very interesting and valuable information. I have no serious criticisms regarding results and interpretation of the Pubmed database study.
