Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Title: Surgical Aspects of Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma

This paper describes the various aspects of the surgical care and outcomes in ICC.

This paper including relatively large number of datas so the results may be highly reliable.

The manuscript cites many references and is well written. However, there are some questions and the author is requested to add the descriptions according to comments as below.

1.     Staging laparotomy

In the section on indications for surgery, staging laparotomy for advanced ICC patients is not described. The author should describe details of surgical indication after staging laparotomy for patients with advanced ICC.

 2.     Recurrence

Some paper described the timing of postoperative recurrence in ICC such as early and late recurrence. The author should describe details of relationship between the timing of postoperative recurrence and survival outcome.

Reviewer 2 Report

There is  an overall benefit to publishing this work.

The paper is review paper about surgical aspects of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. Concerning ICC, it is summarized compactly from diagnosis to surgical treatment. In this paper, new references also exist for recurrence, neoadjuvant and adjuvant therapy, and targeted and immune-based therapy. Compared to other review papers, this paper reviews the latest papers published by 2022. I think the references are appropriate for the review of surgical aspects of ICC.
