Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsI have reviewed the manuscript. The work of the authors presented a commercial CNTs functionalized (-COOH/-NH2) and non-functionalized as a courier for VO species. In the introduction part they mention the important of valorization of biomass derivatives into platform molecules also they mention the important of Furfural which was used in their model reaction as a substrate to transformed into other important platform maleic anhydride molecule, which has a huge applications through the gas phase reaction in high temperature system (305-350oC).
In the experimental section its clearly shows the preparation of the catalyst was done by wet impregnation of the support CNTs with V precursor. However, the catalytic activity in this section presented well with all the necessary equations.
In the results and discussion, the prepared catalytic samples were well characterized by several techniques such as: NH3-TPD, XPS, XRD, Raman, AAS and EA. After that they presented the catalytic activity which shows different reaction applied in a temperature range.
My comments as following:
In the introduction part the paragraph between lines (46-50) it’s not clear what the authors want to say.
In table 1 the correlation between the V (wt%) content and the amount of the acidity based on the interpretation it’s not clear in acidic properties. Also, the table 2 V/C should be in connection with the acidity of the catalyst.
Different amounts of V, TEM or SEM and carbon balance can improve the work.
In general I recommend to accepted this work to be published in catalysts journal after minor revision.

Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsThe required revision is completed. But still, there are some formatting errors in the article that need to be corrected, For instance, Line 178, NH3-DTP should be NH3-TPD; Line 177, thatdesorb should be that desorb; P244, P270, it has no need to start another paragraph. P185, P186 mmolNH3g-1 should be mmol NH3ꞏg-1 etc.
