Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This is an interesting research topic for the use of Fe-26Si-9B alloy as phase change material (PCM) in Si3N4 container for readers. The experimental result and discussion are also reasonable and complete.  All the results show that Si3N4 refractory material is suitable for Fe-26Si-9B alloy container at high temperatures. This is an important finding. Therefore, I recommend this paper can be accepted for publication in Crystals.

Reviewer 2 Report

The manuscript "The use of Fe-26Si-9B alloy as phase change material in Si3N4 container" is very interesting, new and original. The results provided bay the authors show that Si3N4 refractory material is suitable for Fe-26Si-9B alloy container at high temperatures. My recommendation is accept as is.

Reviewer 3 Report

The Jiao et al manuscript entitled "The use of Fe-26Si-9B alloy as phase change material in Si3N4 2 container" is clearly structured and written and the figures are clearly presented and support the conclusions in the text. The scientific advances and findings come out clearly from the introduction and the description of the results. The description of the methods is sufficient for reproducing the measurements. I do not really have anything to criticize (line 160 the word "ever" is not needed). I, therefore, recommend the manuscript for publication unconditionally.
