The presented work discussed the subject of PLA modification, in particular  case the use of maleinized oils (hemp seed, Brasil nut). In my opinion, the novelty of the presented research is average, however, the quality of research methodology and results presentation is good. The presented paper is a very good example of a comparative study, where the authors set themselves the goal of a very detailed analysis of the modified material properties. The list of some minor comments is highlighted below:

  1. The DSC plots are not presented in the text, while during the analysis of Table 2 values it is clear that the appearance of the DSC is strongly different for pure PLA and oil-modified samples. Please provide the DSC plots.
  2. It will be very helpful to attach some photos/pictures presenting the difference in sample appearance after the tensile test.
