General comments
The manuscript concerns a very important problem related to the protection of soil and water quality, especially important in countries such as Brazil with a warm climate and abundant rainfall. The article describes the effects of Conservation Agriculture implementation well and contributes to the development of this cultivation technology.
It is desirable that the manuscript structure be typical of a scientific article. Sections 2-6 should enter the section of the manuscript labeled as 2. Material and Methods and be labeled as 2.1, 2.2… .2.6.
Detailed comments
In chapter 3, there are appropriate shortcuts in the description of governmental, municipal and social activities in the field of water protection related to non-agricultural activities.
The “No Tillage” system indicators described in Chapter 5 have been adopted and properly balanced.
- 547, table 7, should be "nutrient balance", not "nutrient balace"
