Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear authors,

I was happy to review your manuscript: “

Regional Monitoring of Leaf Chlorophy11 Content of Summer 2 Maize by Integrating Multi-Source Remote Sensing Data.” This paper outlines and tests a new methodology for Prediction The purpose of this study was to find a procedure for regional LCC monitoring by 104 integrating UAV and Sentinel satellite data to support governmental agricultural deci-105 sion-making. The specific study objectives were to: (1) find the best scale of UAV multi-106 spectral imagery in the inversion of LCC by comparing the correlation between LCC and 107 remote sensing characteristics, as well as the accuracy of the UAV-monitored LCC result; 108 (2) find the optimal algorithm for the machine learning regressor for LCC inversion based 109 on UAV and Sentinel-2 multi-spectral imagery; (3) integrate UAV and Sentinel-2 multi-110 spectral data by resizing the high spatial resolution result of LCC from UAV to Sentinel-111 2, and use it to training Sentinel-2 data, and ultimately expand the LCC inversion from 112 the field scale to the regional scale.

Line 1 In the title the word Chlorophy11 is not correct it seems no 11 not ll could the Author revised it

Line 12 the Authors should write the abbreviation from the beginning  (LCC)

Line 15 what the Authors mean by (RSFS) could you define the abbreviation

Line 19 Could the Authors  explained what do you mean by  30 m pixel size?

In material and methods Statistical analysis and models validation methods should be described

Line 348 the Authors should enhance the layout of maps and the description of every map should be described

The Authors described in materials and methods they produced Crop map but I didn’t show the land use landcover in result and discussion

In discussion section the Authors should described result by more references related the topic

Conclusion should be improved its so long and there is no recommendation for result

Reviewer 2 Report

The manuscript contributes to the Agronomy journal, however is important to add some comments that I already did to the manuscript body.

In line 127, if you have pictures of SPAD, please insert one in Figure 1.

In line 147, can you add the corn growth stage (for example V12 or R1).

In line 342, please write 11,709 ha, 14,360 ha instead of 11709ha, 14360ha.

In Figure 5. Please move left the Figure with date 2022-07-01, also the latitude and longitude can not see well.

In Discussion section, please add references that compare your findings, using ET, GB, etc models in corn or other crops.
