Extension of LoRa Coverage and Integration of an Unsupervised Anomaly Detection Algorithm in an IoT Water Quality Monitoring System
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
Section 2 needs a major improvement.
For instance, section 2.2.1, the module is not well explained, MCU has several meanings, explain what are PA6, PA7, ... Where is TTGO?
Section 2.2.2 must explain in greater depth the componenmts. The amplifier for pH, what is it? What is the sensors consumtion?
LoRa repeter and gateway are they always active or no? It is not clear which LoRa modules are used and where they are.
Section 2.2.4 what kind of coverted is used to to convert 12 V to 5 V?
Section 2.3.3 has a confuse explanation, rewrite.
Figure 3 has 3 different pictures, explain what are the lower pictures.
Section 2.4.2 What is ADTK?
Figure 4, explain.
Section 2.4.3, Describe in more detail the simulations, give more information about them and their results.

Interesting application of IOT to water sector together with LoRa. The results are not clearly defined so this appears to be an undergraduate report. Limited analysis of results.
Figures 5 and 6 need to be clearer, especially figure 5.
Authors describe a short range and long range application of the system but no numerical definition given to these instances. Authors need to describe the range of the system in terms of distance.
Robustness of the system, energy usage must be included.

Text you have added:
Section 2.1
It has an added text, but it is not congruent. For example, it talks about the gateway when the network that has been developed has not yet been described.
Figure 1
You show a general system architecture diagram, but following sections don't describe the modules: node, LoRa Repeater, Geteway, etc. The sections names are: Microcontroller Modules, LoRa Modules, Power Modules, etc. Are the same? They have different names? Please, be more congruent and don't change structures.
Section 2.2.1
This is the first time you introduce ESP32 development board, you have to explain its main characteristics.
Section 2.2.4
You explain that you use the Mini 560 DC-AC Converter Voltage. DC to AC voltage? Are you sure? Hou have to pass from 12 V DC to 5 V DC, is it correct?
