The authors report the scale inhibiting performance  of PASP and its derivative PASP-Pro and the scale inhibiting mechanism. The resolution of figures and scheme is not good, and I cannot clearly observe those data. Though PASP-Pro had better performance than PASP did, the decreasing tendency in performance by increased temperature cannot be well inhibited. The authors should state the advantage of PASP-Pro over PASP by the detailed data rather than an indistinct description in the summary part. The third point in the conclusions is difficult to understand, and I cannot see any evidence to support this point. My recommendation is minor revisions.
