Comments and Suggestions for Authors

This manuscript examines a very interesting and popular topic in recent years: water quality and distribution patterns of phytoplankton communities in water bodies and their relationship with environmental factors.

The introduction to the manuscript is comprehensive, based on 38 literary sources, and thoroughly acquaints the reader with the problem under consideration.

The study region, sample collection, analysis, and statistical methods for data processing described in the Material and Method section are presented accurately and in detail. The chosen statistical methods are appropriate and demonstrate the relationship between the investigated quantities and the influencing factors.

The results section is well-structured and illustrated with proper graphics. The results are commented on precisely and clearly.

The discussion section is also well-organized, drawing parallels between the authors’ results and similar studies by other research groups. This confirms the right direction and approach for their research.

The conclusions are clear, precise, and correspond to the content of the manuscript and the obtained results.

My only suggestion for improvement is to enhance the quality of the English language used.

Comments on the Quality of English Language

In my opinion, the English language used in the manuscript is good, but there are some small grammatical and punctuation errors that can be a bit distracting for the reader. However, this does not detract from the overall value of the manuscript. My advice to the authors is to consider using the services of a professional translator, which could significantly enhance the quality of the presented material.
