I am thankful for the opportunity to review this manuscript. The article is interesting and the subject is worthy of investigation. In addition it is well known that site suitability is crucial important for sustainable land resource so current paper gives a good example All my comments and suggestions are made directly to the text. Finally, the current study is carrying important task. On the other hand, in order to increase paper quality, in text there are some cases which should be explained and reorganized. That is why, I suggest to the editor to accept this manuscript for publication after major revision.

Paper deals with a very interesting topic of urban green spaces selection, with a case study on example of Benin. Further down I have minor issues on technical editing and the conclusion should be rewritten and is not sufficient for this paper and its outcomes.

 

1. Please check spelling and grammar – there some extra spaces that should not be there.

2. Please delete Background Methods, Results and Conclusion form the Abstract

3. Line 20 large should be Large as the beginning of the sentence.

4. Formatting of the paper is not following instructions, chapters and subchapters are not numbered.

5. Tables are not numbered properly.

6. Line 330 link should be presented as URL.

7. Conclusion is poor, it looks more like an abstract then conclusion. The questions that should be explained in the conclusion are:

- what are the weaknesses of the research;

- what could be future research expectations;

- what are the recommendations and implications of the research;

- how could/should futures studies improve the model etc.

Overall, the topic is interesting, the research is well conducted and with changing this minor issues it can be published.
