I completely agree with your letter. A correct information of COVID consequences is crucial to conduct an appropriate line of research and to not frighten excessively people. I think that what you say is very important. You could also use this article as reference (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35627438/), where we say that GLS is pathological only in COVID-myocarditis and that, in any case, it improve after correct therapy

D’Andrea et al demonstrated that global longitudinal strain (GLS) was pathological only in patients with COVID-myocarditis and that, in any case, it improved after correct therapy.
