Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The article is well written. However, I have a few minor comments:

page 2 line 88 what exactly was the percentage of al? page 15 no discussion about fracture, What is the difference in the assessment of the microstructure using the JMatPro program and the methods of quantitative analysis, were such studies been made?

Reviewer 2 Report

The manuscript "The Effect of Electroslag Remelting on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of CrNiMoWMnV Ultrahigh-Strength Steels" presents interesting results obtained from a wide spectrum of applied research methods. Overall, this is a well-structured, clear work written in excellent English. Nevertheless, I would suggest minor corrections. Consider
unifying the notation of wt%/wt. % across the text. Line 272: consider inserting the word “where”. Figures 5 and 11: the labelling  ("a,b,c,d,e,f ") does not match the information included in the captions.
Accept with minor revisions.

Reviewer 3 Report

  1. Figure 9 does not show the identification of precipitates.
  2. Сheck for grammar.
