In order to improve control effect, an accurate mathematical model of the actuator should be established by considering the impact of end effect and ferromagnetic boundary. In this paper, a non-equal-size actuator based on Halbach array was designed for magnetic levitation isolation platform. The magnetic field analytical model of non-equal-size Halbach actuator was established and the magnetic flux density at the air gap was calculated. Analytical expression and numerical simulation of the magnetic flux density and fluctuation degree were compared between the Halbach array and the traditional permanent magnet.

The main contribution of the paper is to establish a magnetic field analytical model of non-equal-size Halbach array based on the equivalent magnetic charge method and field strength superposition principle. It is practical, however, it is not a new ideal because it is based on references [6][20][21]. Design of an actuator based on Halbach array is popular [6].

I do not see obvious difference and novel principle for this case and other existing technologies. Its academic contribution is not enough. Therefore I think this manuscript should not be published.

The paper is in general kind of interesting. A more detailed discription of the latter application would be helpful to understand the background. However, the biggest problem with this paper are the tons of typos, grammatical issues and minor errors like missing spaces etc. I commented fe in the attached manuscript but highly recommend to let the paper revise by a real native speaker

The advantage of the Halbach array based on the non-equal-size permanent magnets should be further disussed. Why the magnetic flux density of the equal-size Halbach array fluctuates widely? The authors should give the reasonable theorical analysis or the related reference.
