Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The title must be formulated more precisely.

in section 2: There are repetitions of the texts when presenting studies of other authors. It is necessary to systematize review and when the factors and results are the same .

in discussion section: The author has to emphasize on scientific novelty of his research. Some of hypothesis are not necessary to prove. Why to examine the influence of ethical leadership on innovative behaviour of SME when they already confirmed by many researches. I recommend to emphasize on national characteristics (according to H.Hofstede)  and impact on leadership ethics. Also to describe the sectors of examined Malaysian SME and the differences in innovative behaviour.

Response: In our opinion, the title cannot be changed because it would distort the meaning and essence of our research.

in section 2: There are repetitions of the texts when presenting studies of other authors. It is necessary to systematize review and when the factors and results are the same.

Response: Line number 216 and onwards, repetitive text and citation is eliminated. 

in discussion section: The author has to emphasize on scientific novelty of his research. Some of hypothesis are not necessary to prove. Why to examine the influence of ethical leadership on innovative behaviour of SME when they already confirmed by many researches. I recommend to emphasize on national characteristics (according to H.Hofstede)  and impact on leadership ethics. Response: This section has given in limitation of the research, and suggested to respond to H.Hofstede national characteristics for future studies and researchers. Line number 559 and 560 addressed the said issue. The novelty of research in discussion section related to ethical leadership and innovative performance is justified, in line number 451-453.

The sectors of Malaysian SME has been given with innovation behavior significance, given on lines#359 to 368.
