Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The topic of the study is an interesting one and certainly worthy of investigation. The paper is generally well written and the literature thoroughly covered.

Given that this is a journal of Applied Sciences - the authors could enhance this paper by including a discussion on how sustainable the knowledge management is in providing continual support for all aspects of applied natural sciences.

More discussion regarding their findings and tying these findings together with potential ongoing Applied Sciences.

  1. The main concern is there are tables here but no explanations in the result chapter. It is confusing for Readers how they understand the meanings and the what are the key findings.
  2. the discussions are not mapped to the results which support the discussion point.
  3. Abstract has not properly been summarized in the discussion part.

Reviewer 2 Report

After the review process of the article “Analysis of Madrid metro network: from structural to Biplot perspectives” the following conclusions can be drawn:

  1. The article presents an analysis based on mathematical tools of the functional capacity of the Madrid metro, depending on the characteristics of the given infrastructure. Through the topic and the analysis performed, the article is in the field of scientific interest of the journal APP SCIE. It is sufficiently judiciously structured on chapters and transmits the necessary information (theoretical and technical) to those interested in this field of research.
  2. However, there are some minor "issues" that the reviewer wants to highlight:
  • The notation "Biplot" appears in the title and the notation "HJ-Biplot" is used after throughout the text. Wouldn't it be correct for this form to exist in the title as well?
  • Row 174 should be "moved" above Figure 4, and row 273 above Table 5.

Based on these considerations, the reviewer's recommendation is that the article be accepted for publication, but only after solving the minor "problems" mentioned above.
