Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

  The set of procedures presented in the document is appropriately selected for the defined tasks. The introduction of a complex model allows the Authors to avoid significant ambiguities in reading gestures, especially since there is a HOG that can cause serious errors. I would like an explanation as to why the authors in the literature review referred only to scientific publications, leaving out documents related to commercial products and their documentation. There has been no consideration of adapting popular systems such as Vuforia and Unity to this type of task. Additionally, despite the availability of topics such as "Real-time hand gesture recognition using TensorFlow and OpenCV", these obvious solutions were not the focus of the work.

Reviewer 2 Report

There are some small spelling errors:

reserach - line 71 -> research
that is, - line 262 -> without cedilla

The paper is so interesting and very easy to read and understand. Its potential is very high not only in training oriented setups but also in all extended reality oriented solutions that involves user actions to be considered.

However, I am confident that the quality of this paper may be increased by answering at the following questions I had in mind during reading:

  • how about if the trainee is getting a pause? Condition (4) is still valid?
  • how do you treat transitions between basic actions (eventually by taking into account these possible pauses).

The basic principle is ok.

Thank you so much for your valuable comment. We have corrected the spelling errors in the revised manuscript.

Round 2

Reviewer 1 Report

Sent responses clarified minor understatements, the article in its current form is acceptable.

This manuscript is a resubmission of an earlier submission. The following is a list of the peer review reports and author responses from that submission.
