Protected Network Architecture for Ensuring Consistency of Medical Data through Validation of User Behavior and DICOM Archive Integrity
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
The architecture of analytical clusters is to improve the functionality of SIEM environments deployed in hospitals. The system proposed in this paper is designed specifically to allow integration of validation of medical data itself and user behavior analytics to validate medical specialists’ activity.
The problem this paper addressing is important and the motivation is strong.
However, the over presentation could be further improved in multiple aspects such as the image quality, the table illustration, and the overall explanation on each of the components.
The overall contribution is also limited due to the limited system evaluation considering this is system work. Also, what is the designing contribution other than the implementation for the system would also worth paying attention to. How the novel architecture could help other future works would be a question worth answering.
It would be great the authors could better position the contribution and the value of this specific system and proposal to contribute to the domain.

Please do invoke a thesaurus for ALL the abbreviations (even if involving well know standards as DICOM)
Please clarify the boundaries of the examined issues adequately, maybe in the introduction or/and in the discussion
protecting who? Is it the patient, the storage system, the data manager? Which threats are to be addressed? By whom should the threats be executed?
Is it a centralised system, where are the data stored, in a single organisation, by the data manager, on the patient's device? Who owns the data, who is the manager?
Are we discussing manual data analysis by an specialist, or big data predictive modelling? Are the concepts the same? Is the data the same?
