Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors have designed TuSeSy, an intelligent turntable servo system, which can track the aircrafts and parachutes in airdrop tests automatically. The study is interesting, however, there are some concerns which needs to be addressed in order to make the readers more clear about the work. The comments are highlighted as:

  1. Please incorporate the organization of manuscript at the end of Section 1.
  2. I find the reference number missing in text at multiple places. Please check carefully regarding the referencing style.
  3. Abbreviations are not defined at the first instance where it has been used i.e., GMM, GPS, etc. Please check for all.
  4. Please improvise the quality of Figure 3.
  5. For Fig. 6, please correct the flowchart. Please refer to the flowchart symbols, and incorporate accordingly. Moreover, the writeup inside the shapes should be clear and concise. Kindly, revise it.
  6. For Algorithm 3, Algorithm 4, and Algorithm 5, Please correct the last two lines, and make it in a pseudocode form i.e., more understandable to the readers.
  7. From the methodology point of view, Why didn't the authors try the different luminosity conditions and test whether their Algorithm is able to detect the object on those lightning conditions.
  8. Please highlight the constraints if the contrast between the object and the sky is too low.
  9. With regard to computational overhead, what will be the impact canny edge detection algorithm.
  10. In terms of results presentation wrt Tables, I suggest the graphs would look more appropriate.
  11. Please give a thorough English check i.e., simple past tense's.

Reviewer 2 Report

Interesting work and experiments shows that TuSeSy solve the problem of wrong target tracking, and reduce computational overhead.

Few suggestion :

  1. Explain the words: "Turntable" and "Servo system" in between line 83 to 94 so that layman can understand in how developed system name is relevant in this research.
  2. Check al references again like reference number 6 has "number 01 ". What does it means?
