Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The manuscript that I reviewed presents interesting results of an experimental study on the 3D fusion image-guided TIPS procedure that would improve the TIPS procedure with a safe and one puncture procedure in emergent and non-emergent situations.

The paper is well written, presenting clearly all the research steps. The results of this experimental study will help improve the TIPS procedure.

The Introduction presents well the field of TIPS and the need to find an improved procedure. The Methods are precise, and I would improve only the Figures to be larger and more clear.

The Discussions analyzed the advantages of the new procedure, the study's limitations, and some disadvantages of the 3D FIG. The study concluded that 3DFIG is more efficient and safe for the portal vein puncture step of TIPS.

Also, there should not be abbreviated words in the keywords list.

The author should edit the text as there is a repetition of the paragraph of conclusions.

As suggested, the images were enlarged and included additional figure legends.

As suggested, the keywords list no longer contains abbreviated words

The author should edit the text as there is a repetition of the paragraph of conclusions.

The repeated conclusion has been removed.

Reviewer 2 Report

Thank you for sending your work for consideration in Appl. Sci.. This piece is highly pertinent at the moment and should be in the minds of the readership. There are one point that ought to be considered to improve what is fundamentally a good article. If you can address these, the work will be highly useful. The idea are given below: Eliminate the double conclusion.
