Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This manuscript focuses on data naming, which is one of the fundamental issues of information-centric networking, and research on the data naming mechanism of the low earth orbit mega constellation for the internet of things. The idea is good; however, many issues should be addressed according to the following comments:

1) The overall presentation, readability, and more results and comparisons are mandatory. Please, correct the language problems, it is weak from the Grammarly and sequences of events, I catch 21 errors by using a personal program, and the authors must cure them carefully. Also, the authors must avoid the use of the pronoun "we" in the whole manuscript.

2) The "Abstract" section should be more intensively focused on the main idea directly and must contain the contribution of this manuscript supported with numerical result indicators. Also, the ICN abbreviation in the second line must identify firstly, besides the QoS abbreviation should be defined.

3) The "Introduction" section should be made much more impressive by highlighting your contributions. The novelty of this manuscript must be explained simply and clearly in points at the end of the introduction section.

4) The introduction section should be enriched using the up-to-date references 2022, by adding and citing papers in the area of the latest trends of using IoT to the network architecture based on TCP/IP for efficiently achieving data distribution and routing. E.g., Reliable Deep Learning and IoT-Based Monitoring System for Secure Computer Numerical Control Machines & Effective IoT-based Deep Learning Platform for Online Fault Diagnosis of Power Transformers & Experimental Setup for Online Fault Diagnosis of Induction Machines via Promising IoT and Machine Learning.

5) It is mandatory to check all the citing references of equations (1): (7). In addition, check carefully all the abbreviation definitions, symbols, and standard units in the whole manuscript. I catch some errors and the other symbols are not defined, please define the abbreviations.

6) The resolution and quality of figures should be modified; they should be presented as close to the camera-ready format. Also, please don't use the symbol abbreviations on X-Y-axes, they must have the full name with their SI units.

7) The conclusion section should be more concentrated and supported by the numerical results. Also, the authors may propose some interesting problems as future work in the conclusion.

Reviewer 2 Report

This paper proposes a novel mechanism for data-naming for satellite LEO mega-constellations for IoT. The paper is well written and organized, and the objectives are clearly stated. The authors pointed out the limits of existing methods and the requirements which the data-naming approach should meet.  The design of their data-naming mechanism is well detailed and simulation shows that the author's approach gives good results when analyzing performances. Hence I recommend this paper for publication.

Dear reviewers, thank you for your recognition and recommendation.

Reviewer 3 Report

1.     Add result and discussion in separate section.

2.     Is there software that can implement these calculations?

3.     Even though the authors briefly mentioned, it would be better to provide industrial or engineering examples where the proposed approach can be used.

4.      In addition, the authors are highly recommended to cite some recent advances on the topic in their revised article.

5.     Check once section 3.2 and figure 10.

6.     Reference section should be check carefully.

7.     Plagrism should be 15-20%. (19%)

8.     Kindly avoid self-citation if more than 3-4.

9.       Kindly check the references throughout the paper.

10.    Kindly  cite table and figure in text throughout the paper.
