Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

According my point of view this paper will be interesting for the readers, especially the experimental part. But several point must be described in more details:

1. The actuality of the paper. The aims of the research must be clear for the readers. What is the use of solving this problem? This paper is going to be published in open- access journal, so, I can conclude that the authors solve this problem not military purposes. Please add information about the possible future application of your solutions.

2. The experimental results were obtained at the model. Please add information about extrapolation of the results to real scale devices.

Round 2

Reviewer 2 Report

Most of my comments are addressed and the quality of the paper is now  much more improved. The authors can look a bit more into my comment #5 on the angle of IR camera and potential error in temperature measurement. A more quantitative comparison e.g. against thermocouple can help them gain more confidence on accuracy of IR measurement.
