Reviewer 2 Report

The findings of present study “Design and experimental study of intermittent automatic grouping dropping plug seedling mechanism of fixed seedling cups”, the research results provide a reference for the design and research of the subsequent traction automatic pot seedling transplanting machine. I think that the work falls into the scope of the journal and findings are interesting, however MS demands minor revision.

Comments:

The significant novel point of the study over the precedent studies is not clear. There are two major concerns with this MS. First one is grammatical mistakes, language error, typographical mistakes. Aims and objectives of the study are not clear. Avoid to use “we, our, us”. In first use, mention the full names, then you can use abbreviations.

thanks

1.       What is the motivation of the proposed work? Research gaps, objectives of the proposed work should be clearly justified.

2.       The author has mentioned the errors obtained by used techniques, it is suggested that the significance of errors listed, must be described in the comparison section

3.       Already the same kind of papers existing(similar kind) in the internet.

4.       Comparison with recent study and methods would be appreciated.

5.       The mapping process for the proposed technique should be discussed in detail.

6.      The paper does not provide significant experimental details needed to correctly assess its contribution: What is the validation procedure used?

Dear Editor;

The manuscript entitled “Design and experimental study of intermittent automatic grouping dropping plug seedling mechanism of fixed seedling cups” has been reviewed. In the current manuscript, a seedling separation mechanism based on a fixed pot has been proposed to achieve faster seedling grouping in a smaller volume. As a whole, the topic is very interesting, and the manuscript is well-recognized and can be considered as a valuable contribution, but requires a minor revision. I would like to raise some comments, and recommendations about the manuscript:

1. The title is good.

2. The abstract should be improved, and the best results achieved should also be indicated in numerical form.

3. I suggest that authors reduce the number of keywords and choose short, precise and informative words.

4. The introduction generally is good, with only a few grammatical errors.

5. The Results section generally is good, with only a few grammatical errors.

6. The conclusions section is long, I suggest the authors to summarize them, and to give only the best conclusions and their importance.

7. The discussion requires a very good discussion using recent references in the relevant fields and indicating the significance of the results compared to those in the literature.

Kind regards
