The research design and methodology adopted are strong points of the article.
As suggestions for improvement, I suggest including some authors cited in the bibliographical references to corroborate the conclusions presented by the authors. Another suggestion is the more detailed specification of suggestions for future research.

I found it very timely and interesting in order to explore city urbanization dynamics with specific reference to industry closeness to urban systems.
In particular, I found the manuscript very sound in terms of both the analysis of existing references and also of the methodology and the metrics that have been adopted in order to perform this research study.
In particular, the framework proposed in Figure n. 1 is very comprehensive and includes all relevant perspectives of analysis, to me.
The study is ready for publication, then, however, some further revisions are needed, with reference to the following aspects:
1) An English proofreading is suggested;
2) A discussion on study limitations of this study is needed in the conclusion section.
