In this paper, the recent methodologies and techniques proposed by various authors for efficient WPT in implantable devices have been discussed and focused. For each recent method, the working principle and their outcomes are mapped. The research is detailed and the expression is smooth. My questions/suggestions are as follows:

1.The article mainly discuss the IPT technology in implantable devices, but the CPT technology is rarely involved. It is suggested to delete the keyword “CPT”.

2.There are many errors in the format of references, careful checking is required.

3.The content of [17] is inconsistent with the description in the paper, please check it.

4.In Section III-A, the article discusses the WPT systems based on different transmitting coil technique. What about different receiving coil?

5. According to the description in the article. The approach applied in [29] and [30] are more like power control and regulation improvement. It is suggested to further explain the principle of impedance matching in [29] and [30].

The authors have composed a review paper regarding wireless power transmission.

 They have explained in great detail the makeup of different circuitry for this power transmission.

 Title of review uses the word philosophical. The importance of including this word in the title was the title was not apparent to me.

 The title as written also suggests just an even covering of the 2 topics power transmission and nano material based batteries.

 However only the 1st topic is covered in detail while the 2nd topic is discussed in general terms and missing detail.

 Section 3 is written in very high expert language that may not be appropriate for a broader audience.

 As an example the pros and cons for each transmission approach is hard to untangle from the technical writing. Pros and cons should be explicitly stated in plain language.

For section 3 part E, more detail is necessary such as longevity of battery and specific examples of nano material.

 Section E could even be removed as the relationship between the 2 topics (wireless power transmission and nanomaterial base batteries) has not been made.
