Comments and Suggestions for Authors

General remark:

In my opinion, the paper shows an excellent and interesting analysis related to hyperchaotic systems. For this  reason, I consider the paper can be accepted, and published in Appl. Sci.  after a minor corrections.

Comment 1. Abstract

The abstract should be improved, since it does not reflect the novelty of the article

Comment 2. Introduction

Please what is the main question addressed by your research different than other published material?

Comment 3. Figures

Please  on Figure 1a change the green pale color. It is quite difficult to see. On the other why don’t you use a range between 0 and 4. At least the maximum on 19 ? (units???) has a physical sense to  improve discussion

On figure 1 b and so on  you use t > 0.2. But in the analysis it is not really clear the purpose. Please go deep!! Of course, on 214 line to 218 you give a small explanation but it is necessary to extrapolate your hyperchaotic chen systems in terms of an entropy of a system far from equilibrium or in a irreversible process. May it be possible?

Comment 4. Conclusions

The conclusions should give a quantitative value of the effect of t > 0.2

Comment 5.   Reference corrections.

Please give DOI for each reference not just for a few.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The current proposes to analytically investigate the approximate lag and anticipating synchronization between two unidirectionally hyperchaotic Chen systems without time delay are. The theory is validated using simulations.

Comments to authors:

- Please add more details of how the theory from the first sections is applied in the results section.

- The authors can add the steps of implementing the algorithms. The theoretical part can be better detailed. The steps will be to the benefit of the readers, maybe they’ll help the readers to implement the proposed algorithm.

- Add both the advantages and the disadvantages of the proposed method, in the current version of the paper only the advantages are presented.

- The state of the art it is poor regarding new habits that kids can acquire, maybe they can learn about automatic control, maybe the author could add the following publications:

o Hybrid Data-Driven Active Disturbance Rejection Sliding Mode Control with Tower Crane Systems Validation, Romanian Journal of Information Science and Technology, vol. 27, no. 1, 2024.

o Enhanced P-type Control: Indirect Adaptive Learning from Set-point Updates, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, DOI: 10.1109/TAC.2022.3154347, 2022.

- Add the measurement units labels for abscissa and ordinate for all the figures from the paper.

- Please add more comments regarding the obtained results, and what initial conditions were used to obtain the current results?

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The authors answered to all my concerns. From my point of view the paper can be accepted to be published in MADPI  Applied Sciences Journal.
