Landscape Ecological Risk Assessment and Zoning Control Based on Ecosystem Service Value: Taking Sichuan Province as an Example
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsArticle presents actual problems with selection of proper methods for ecological management in Sichuan province, taking into account its local specificity. Anyway article appears to have significant deficiencies such as poor results discussion.
Lack of significant findings not only in abstract section, but also in main text (Results section) because many equations were used in order to calculate values the indicators, to present ecological effects in monetary equivalent -Ecosystem Service Value presented in table 2- lack of discussion and presentation of calculated values in abstract section.
Also main findings need to be mentioned in abstract section: in which geographical sites of this province most of actions/improvements should be done in the future.
Besides, I have following detailed remarks to the article:
1.Improvement of figure 1: Overall stragety => overall strategy
2. Improvement of visibility fig.2. Lack of description in main text, why this figure is needed in this article, what information does it give.
3. Some sections in article need to be re-organised, f.e. figure 3 presents results- remove from section Methods.
4. Due to fact, that figure 5 represent the most important data for further interpretation and discussions there is strongly need for improvement of visibility of fig. 5
5. In references: point 22, L496 wrong format, Chineese letters.
6. Literature is not well balanced, (19 sources from recent 5 years in it 7 / 2021, 7/2022 and 3/2023) but the 11 sources are older than 5 years; add or replace by the newest one.

Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsDear authors,
I am almost satisfied with improvements, which you have made, but the figure 1 should be still improved- the word "strategy" should be used instead of "stragety"
