Application of Radial Type Multifiber Media Filtration Process for Combined Sewer Overflow Treatment

This work investigated fiber media filtration used for combined sewer overflow (CSO) treatment. Some interesting results were carried out in this work. However, this manuscript suffers from some shortcomings. And some improvements should be made before the paper meets the requirement for publication.

The authors should pay more attention to the following points.

(1)    More work is needed to improve the level of English throughout the entire manuscript.

(2)    Some figures have no error bars for the data. The authors should explain how much experimental data were taken for each data. This is to ensure the repeatability of data from this work.

(3)    In Figures 2 and 7, the scales in SEM images are very obscure.

(4)    In Figure 2c, what does the media filter number mean? What filter was employed to obtain the characteristic results in Figure 2a~c? What is the number?

(5)  In Figure 5, backwash 15min, whether the time is enough.

(6)    Some comparisons between the results in this work and the other works reported in the literature should be added.
