Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The paper presents a solution for measuring the efficiency of urban freight transportation and in this regard, the presented research is certainly relevant for the journal.

However, there are multiple issues with the presented concept and with the paper itself. First, the most essential part of the presented solution is that the driver has to enter data into the M5Stack device. The first natural question which arises is that how reliable this manual process can be? By intuition, one could easily think that there is a very high probability of inaccuracy in case of such a manual method, not to mention that it also takes away a relatively significant portion of the drivers working time. Now it is understandable that the presented solution is only a proof of concept, but still it would be highly useful if the authors would present at least a conceptual solution for automating the entire process. Besides, it would also be useful if the operation of the complete solution would be summarized in a more straightforward manner in both the abstract and in the introduction of the paper. Moreover, the literature review could also be expanded, as the field certainly has a very extensive literature.

Finally, while the presented solution has multiple different components (the M5Stack device, the Pycharm based modeling and the visualization part), yet these sub-systems are described relatively briefly. Therefore, a more detailed description of the different components would be highly beneficial as well.

In the opinion of this reviewer, the paper can only be published if all of the previous issues are addressed (plus an extensive editing of the English language is also required).

Comments on the Quality of English Language

There are multiple issues with the use of the English language, both from the perspectives of clarity and grammar. Therefore, an extensive editing of the English language is required.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

To study the urban freight transportations impact on urban areas in relation to sustainability and habitability is a very interesting topic.  The authors proposed a KPI methodology implementation based on the triple bottom-line approach. However, the study in the manuscript lacks scientific value, and I advise the authors to present it to another lower level journal.

Comments on the Quality of English Language

The grammar should be checked carefully.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

I accept the implementation of the proposed changes, however I would still recommend to check the English language once more, as there is still room for improvement in that regard. Besides of that, I accept the paper in present form.

Comments on the Quality of English Language

A minor editing of the English language of the paper would still be required.
