Comments and Suggestions for Authors
Manuscript presents some theoretic simulations on a ZnO/SiO2/Diamond structure from SAW propagation point of view. It sows few interesting insides of the propagation process and parameter dependence, but, over all, does not seem to be addressing a “real problem” and it is not much connected with “real applications”. Even its structure is more in the form of an ‘activity report ‘ and it should be revised. English should also be revised. Punctual comments are presented below:
Structure:
“Next, this paper investigates the …” ???
“In order to obtain a higher k2 as well as vp, h3 = 0.08λ is chosen in this paper, i.e., k2 is 4.9% and vp is 4892 m/s. In summary, in the structure of this paper under consideration of electrode loading ”
4. Discussion – paragraph is actually the abstract of the manuscript
5. Conclusions – Are not summarizing the results and it should actually present the main results and not generalities.
English:
“The article concludes with the design of a SAW resonator with coexistence of Rayleigh and Sezawa modes using this laminated structure” - It is actually within the “simulation section” …
“the center frequency of the Rayleigh mode is more impacted” ???
“Sezawa mode can sustain high frequencies over GHz in this range with ease” ???
Comments on the Quality of English LanguageEnglish should be revised.
