-Units of parameters from Nomenclature should be indicated

-Dimensionless parameters should be defined

-I encourage the authors to research in future the case when the by pass tube has another shape than circular (e.g. a cardioid).

1.     The authors of this manuscript studied the influence of flow on sound field in the Herschel-Quincke (HQ) duct.

2.     It is not clear what the novelty of this work is, which is the research question one wants to answer? Why is this work important? Motivation of work is not well stated.

3.     Details of mesh and algorithms adopted for mesh improvisation, if any to be provided, which is very important in simulation study.

4.     Add more simulation results in the form of some graphs and tables.

5.     The obtained results should be capered with the well published results.

6.      The figures 4, 5, and 6 should be discuss in more detailed.  

7.     The references should be cited more recently.
