- Patients with atypical chest pain were older, affected more females, had more comorbidities, delayed admission, and delayed treatment.
- Patients with atypical chest pain showed higher in-hospital death and long-term mortality irrespective of diabetes history.
- The coexistence of atypical chest pain and DM was at the highest risk of cardiovascular events.
