Reviewer 1 Report

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The manuscript was fairly good written. However, some revision is necessary (see attachment)

1. Abstract should briefly explain the method of the study, such as experimental design and procedure of the study

2. Introduction should be added some references related to the effect of biosolids on soil characteristics

3. Material and method must be improved so that the experiment is producible

4. Result and discussion need major revision including why phenomena occur, relation the nutrient content with improvement of variables, Data on soil and biosolids should be presented and relate to the improvement of the media, then the improvement of plant variable

5. Conclusion should be based on the data from the experiment.

Please see attachment for revision

As per your request, I am sending the revised version of our manuscript agriculture-2924949 entitled "Biosolid Mixtures Applied in Tropical Soils and Their Effect on Coriandrum sativum and Ocimum basilicum Nutritional Uptake"

We appreciate all the comments and suggestions, and all have been considered within the text.

Comment #1: Line 14: In this study instead of in this project.

Reply: in the revised version we have improved the manuscript as suggested by reviewer 1. The word "project" was changed by study in line 16.

Comment #2: Line 85: there is nothing like in this research project, it should be in this research.

Reply: in the revised version the word “project” was deleted (line 111).

Comment #3: conclusive part of the introduction is mostly methodology, please conclude the section with objectives.

Reply: corrections were made in the manuscript and results aligned with objectives were added to this section.

Comment #4: please, mention the soil textural type: percentage sand, silt and clay.

Reply: Information was added in the manuscript (Introduction section).

Comment #5: line 97 - 100; this should be presented in Table, it appears confusing as it is presently. put treatment in one column and treatment definition in the order column. You can even use treatment code. Also state the number of treatments, either three or four.

Reply: Corrections were made. Table was added on page 4.

Comment # 6: In your samplings, how many replicates were considered for each measurement. It must be stated.

Reply: information was added through the manuscript (n=3).

Comment # 7: line 138: what version of minitab was used, not stated.

Reply: information was added in lines 194 and 195.
